Job Description:

Description:The selected candidate will support activities related to Computer Aided Design (CAD)/Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) for all Aeronautics programs.

Duties include providing airframe design expertise to support the development and deployment of related CAD/CAM capabilities. Coordinating with the Aero IT organization to develop and deliver viable tools for the Airframe Design CAD/CAM user community. Developing supporting documentation (methods, standards, processes and trainings) to support tool implementation. Performing capability validation of Engineering tool and process requirements. Coordinating user acceptance testing for application deployments. Delivering prerequisite Engineering Dataset Standards, Methods, updates for the program process and other documentation required in support of the CAD/CAM tools. Reviewing documentation and design artifacts for completeness, overlapping requirements and solutions, and reuse opportunities. Supporting resolution of technical issues within the CAD/CAM environment. Working with stakeholders to ensure project goals and program expectations are successfully met. Facilitating discussions and dissemination of technical decisions and pertinent information. Providing direct user support as required.

Basic Qualifications:
• Experience in Engineering Design processes and BTP (Build-To-Package) procedures.
• Proficiency with CATIA V5 and 3DX application.
• Experience with AGILE development processes.
Desired Skills:
• Familiarity with LM Aero custom CATIA functions.
• Familiarity with Aerospace Industry
Manufacturing processes and procedures.
• Familiar with configuration management concepts.
• Good understanding in computer programming languages (C, C++, Python, etc.)
• Good communication, technical writing and problem solving skills.
• The ability to work well in a teaming environment.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
