40 - Assist in the development, maintainance and update of manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, process specifications, and process instructions. Work with Program Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and Design Engineering to support the requirements necessary to successfully build production hardware.
30 - Interface with Teamcenter Enterprise and Oracle to enter manufacturing bill of material and routings to ensure that operations, resources, and lead times are correct. These inputs feed directly into our material resource planning system and enable the site to manage capacity requirements.
20 - Support the Manufacturing Engineering team to improve administrative processes, using lean techniques such as fishbone, process flow, and kaizan.
10 - With guidance from more senior manufacturing engineers, assist in developing documentation standards to decrease lead time and increase quality accuracy of manufacturing documentation.
SECONDARY FUNCTIONS: Other duties as assigned.
This is an entry-level, exempt position that requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering or related major or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Additional Requirements and Preferred Qualifications:
- Requires strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
- PowerPoint skills are necessary.
- Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, knowledge of lean manufacturing and the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings preferred.
- Knowledge of Oracle and Teamcenter Enterprise is a plus.
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $62,000 - $115,000.
