STS Engineering Solutions is hiring skilled Aircraft Power Plant Engineers to join our team. This role is vital for ensuring compliance with regulatory and company requirements while providing on-site and remote engineering support. Ideal candidates should possess extensive experience in aviation powerplant engineering, with a focus on Airbus powerplants.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support for aircraft line maintenance, heavy maintenance, and modifications.
- Develop detailed work instructions for powerplant repairs.
- Offer Aircraft-On-Ground (AOG) support for powerplant installations.
- Collaborate with OEMs and DERs to ensure approved repairs.
Qualifications:
- BS in Engineering from an ABET accredited university.
- Previous experience in powerplant engineering for commercial aviation.
- Proficiency in OEM and TCH technical manuals.
- Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, etc.).
- Ability to travel as required and work remotely when needed.
- U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with V2500 and PW1000G engines, Honeywell 131-9 APUs.
- FAA Airframe and/or Powerplant licenses.
