EXPERIENCE:
*Must have 3-5 years of experience in Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) Titan 3D printer RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Create efficient STL 3D print files Develop 3D printing processes that are manufacturing ready.
* Create new products on our varied composites, textile, coating, foam, and additive manufacturing technologies.
* Test newly created products Test raw materials Document processing conditions. test results, and other critical-to-quality data.
* Develop best practice SOP& 39;s, WI& 39;s, etc. for AM processes.
* Generate optimized build files to produce high quality parts in minimum time with maximum consistency.
* Monitor builds on a varying schedule.
* Research new 3D printable materials and leverage those materials into new technical products.
* Other duties as assigned. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
* Working knowledge of all 3D Printing processes (existing and emerging).
* Working knowledge of Solidworks, Rhino, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Eager to learn and explore advanced 3D composites, textile processes, and other AM processes.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Effective team player, with strong critical-thinking skills. EDUCATION:
* Bachelor of Science Degree from an accredited institution, with a concentration in a relevant materials science discipline. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
