Summary:
Set up test apparatus and conduct tests on electronic assemblies and units per established methods and standards.
Assemble units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications.
Adjust and calibrate systems as needed; troubleshoot malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing components.
Use hand tools, power tools, and various measuring/testing devices to perform job duties.
Determine testing types, approve modifications to equipment, and analyze test results for product performance evaluation.
Assist engineers in designing test procedures for new products and recommend improvements.
Monitor and verify quality in line with statistical control procedures.
Troubleshoot to the component level using schematic diagrams for Analog and Digital circuitry.
Work effectively in a dynamic production environment, supporting customer schedules.
Proficient in using measurement devices like Digital Multi-meters, Oscilloscopes, Network Analyzers, and RF Power Meters.
Required Skills:
High school diploma or equivalent, plus specialized technical training (equivalent to an Associate degree) and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
Proficient in troubleshooting solid-state, digital, and RF circuits at the component level.
Experience with Microsoft Suite and data collection programs for documentation.
Experience with flying probe/high power testing.
