Our employees are not only part of history, theyre making history. Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Principal Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst for our location in Plymouth, MN. This position will be onsite.
Provide financial support and leadership to a variety of individual programs/projects in a project accounting environment.
Duties include:
- Preparation of quarterly Profit & Loss statements by major project
- Monitor and manage program cost control by working well with the program and functional team
- Creation of a monthly operations forecast for revenue, operating margin, and cash projections that includes variance analysis and identification of programmatic financial risks and opportunities
- Annual completion of a strategic 5 year plan for orders, revenue, operating margin, and cash
- Ad hoc reporting/ cost control reporting including performance measurement and associated analysis, labor and material details by project
- Be the point of contact for assigned programs/projects audit inquiries as they arise
- Program cash management and working capital initiatives including cash flow projects for potential/future orders to determine if the pursuit is a good investment of proposal dollars now vs. cash over time
- Strong partnership with the Program Management function
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree with 8 plus years of relevant experience, Masters Degree with 6 plus years of relevant experience; or HS Diploma plus 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
- Strong Financial Analysis skills
- Experience with Cost Control and Working Capital Management
- Ability to work well with Operational team/program managers
- Ability to work independently and proactively
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Earned Value a plus, but not required
- ERP experience
- Strong excel background
Salary Range: $104,900 - $157,300
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
