MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelors degree in finance, business administration or technical/analytical related field or equivalent amounts of directly related experience for education.
(2 years of directly related experience 1 year towards degree requirement)
• Minimum of five (5) years of cost management, budgeting, financial analysis preferably in manufacturing environment dependent upon level of skill
• Demonstrated proficiency in cost management processes and cost structures in manufacturing
• Strong technical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills, with a high level of independent judgment and creativity
• Thorough understanding of project cost and budgeting procedures
• Strong cross-functional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultures
• Leadership and team management capabilities
• Desire to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
PRINCIPAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS): |
Support the creation of Completion Aircraft Estimates at Completion (EAC) Requires critical understanding of labor and materials for supported business unit and coordination with Director Cost Control and Central Finance Support the implementation and monitoring of targets Responsible along with the Director Cost Control to create tools to set and monitor Business Unit targets at multiple levels. Responsible to analyze and explain the actual results against these targets to the business unit and local management Assist in the creation of Business Plans Responsible along with the Director of Cost Control for the creation of all business plans involving cost at the facility. This would encompass new business, existing business and outsourcing situations. Manage the Cost Reduction Plan Assist the supported business unit with brainstorming and implementing new process changes. This includes the detail explanation of the current situation around our cost reduction plan effort to the facility Management and corporate management. Systems and Process documentation Assist in implementing improvements and/or validation of improvements to the current system. Support any new ERP system requirements for completion job cost. Responsibilities also include process documentation within this responsibility. |

MBA / CMA depending upon career path Experience in an Aerospace OEM and/or Completion Center business. Bilingual in English and French |
