Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensuring data accuracy and updating the NASA N-Prop equipment inventory database.
- Ensuring that N-Prop related data processing activities meet or exceed the requirements of Personal Property Management.
- Applying decals to all incoming NASA-owned equipment as required and forwarding documentation to the Government N-Prop coordinator.
- Processing excess turn-in documentation for all controlled and non-controlled NASA excess equipment and materials.
- Reviewing, reconciling, adjusting, and processing all N-Prop Inventory transactions.
- Processing Survey Reports for all missing NASA equipment (NASA form 598).
- Processing Property passes and Equipment loans and submitting documentation to the Government N-Prop coordinator.
- Processing and coordinating Equipment Transfers to other NASA Centers.
- Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Utilizing inventory management software to track inventory movement.
- Developing and implementing inventory control policies and procedures in alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
- Providing guidance and support to staff involved in inventory management activities.
- Training team members on inventory control processes and procedures.
- Collaborating with various NASA codes and customers to address specific inventory needs and requirements.
- Ensuring adherence to NASA&39;s inventory management protocols and regulations.
- Utilizing SAP and other relevant inventory management systems extensively to manage equipment and run reports.
- Providing monthly and annual reports for ARC supply quantity levels, receipts, issues, and other project activities.
Basic
Job Requirements:
Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license.
- Possess a clean DMV driving record.
- Experience in property or supply management.
- Extensive experience using dedicated N-PROP database systems
- Exceptional administrative abilities and ability to multitask.
