Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a talented Principal Quality Analyst to join our team in Huntsville, AL to support our WISLA IBCS program. The selected candidate will perform the following:
Perform test witnessing to include monitoring/ witnessing preparations for test events and sign-off on final test reports, surveillance of integration and test labs, buy-off/sell-off support, support to test tool development, verification of calibration of monitoring and measuring devices, test hardware, test software, automated test equipment (ATE), and plotters used to produce inspection data
Provide Lab support and lab verification in preparation for software testing
Develop, modify, apply, and maintain quality evaluation and control systems and protocols for processing materials into partially finished or finished products
Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure quality standards are in place
Responsible for updating Quality and Mission Assurance (QMA) plans/procedures
Provides QMA support to preparation of presentation material, review of documentation, sign-off on technical review materials and readiness, attendance at meetings, and support to closeout of review action items
Must be able to prepare and deliver presentations to leadership and our customer
Participation in Risk Management process and support to team in identification of risks or opportunities
Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) review and reporting to include monitoring status of corrective and preventive actions and tracking through closure, reviewing/analyzing defect data, monitoring test problem report data and closure status, monitoring causal analysis and resolution
Supports hardware control to Bill of Materials (BOM), First Article Inspections, close-out and delivery inspections and control of end item data packages
Support fielded major end items (MEI) integration of hardware/software
Able to conduct/support internal process evaluations and develop process evaluation reports
Qualifications
Level 3:
Basic Qualifications:
Must have 9 years of industry experience in the Aerospace and Defense Industry in lieu of degree (high school diploma); Will consider: Bachelor’s degree with 5 years within Quality and Mission Assurance; or 3 years of experience with a Masters degree required.
Must have an Active Secret DOD Security Clearance
Must be able to work on-site in Huntsville, Alabama
Must have the ability to travel up to 10 domestically or international
Preferred Qualifications:
Salary Range: $84,600 - $127,000
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidates experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
