This is a multi-disciplined Industrial Security position supporting and assigned to the Consolidated Security Office within Raytheon. You will be supporting security business needs of all proprietary programs across RTX in accordance with applicable USG regulations, contractual, customer and company requirements. You will be responsible for executing day-to-day activities as a Personnel Security Professional; administering and maintaining a comprehensive Personnel Security posture in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment. Frequently collaboration with all levels of program leadership, business partners and stakeholders is essential for your success.
What You Will Do
- Creates, maintains and leverages working relationships with internal and external customers, peers, and senior management to accomplish security objectives.
- Utilizes excellent writing, organizational, communication, problem-solving skills and is detail oriented.
- Remains current on NISPOM, program Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Program Protection Plans (PPPs), Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD254s), contract Statement of Work (SOW) and related security guidance in support of assigned program(s). Participates in development, updates, and implementation of company security policies and procedures.
- Assists with updating and administering indoctrinations, refresher briefings and debriefings, and communicates security guidance to internal audiences. Interprets security requirements across all NISP security domains. Conducts security self-inspections, and prepares for DCSA inspections/annual reviews. Conducts safe inspections and maintains personnel security databases/trackers.
- Maintains personnel files and training records, assists and maintains team SharePoint site, and coordinates completion and submission of Personnel Security Questionnaires and Pre and Post Foreign Travel Briefings.
- Performs other security related tasks as directed by the Security Manager.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in security management, Criminal Justice, Business Management, or similar curriculum and a minimum of 1 years’ experience working in Industrial Security, Information Assurance/Cyber, Special Programs, security management, military, or government information security programs
- Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET clearance prior to start date, U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer
- Ability obtain and maintain a Top Secret /SCI eligibility clearance.
- Experience working in a Special Access Program (SAP) and/or Sensitive Compartment information (SCI) environment.
- Experience reviewing Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD254’s)
- Experience using DISS and NBIS
- Self-starter with good interpersonal skills, professional demeanor, and comfortable with minimal supervision

The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
