Job Summary

The Marketing Performance Analyst invests in the future of Southwests People by supporting Marketing Leadership and teammates by creating, monitoring, and identifying trends for all Paid Media and Owned Marketing (email, push, SMS, onsite merchandising placements, etc.). This role will work with different tools and platforms to report on how our Marketing efforts are performing. The Marketing Performance Analyst is a strong communicator (verbal, written, and visual) with a passion for data storytelling which theyll utilize to drive the future of Southwest.

This role is a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, which requires Employees to work onsite on our Corporate Campus at least three days a week. The Department designates the specific three days of the week Employees must work on-site.

Responsibilities
- Analyze business trends by applying quantitative analysis to identify insights
- Conduct data analysis with large datasets to report on campaign level and/or program level performance, identifying performance drivers
- Deliver actionable data and communicate insights that will support business strategy and drive performance with minimal support
- Compile reports that highlight key revenue drivers and other KPIs
- Contribute to development of presentations with analytical results into presentable formats that are concise and easy to follow for all levels of management
- Deliver multiple analysis in an efficient manner by defining, analyzing, and reporting performance that supports the business needs and the department&39;s strategic priorities
- Gather complex data that will optimize results and ensure that timelines and scope are adhered to
- Build and maintain cross-functional relationships within the Marketing Department
- Extract data from relational databases and web analytics tools
- May perform other job duties as directed by Employee&39;s Leaders
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of data visualization tools, relational database management and web analytics tools
- Skilled in collecting, organizing, visualizing and interpreting data, including turning raw data into meaningful information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V/H Lookups, charts, organizing data, conditional formatting, etc.) and Power Point (building, formatting, presenting, etc.)
- Skilled in data mining, data cleansing and analysis methods for reporting and providing insights
- Ability to use large enterprise data sets to provide insights
- Ability to listen to, understand, and communicate ideas presented in writing and/or in speaking with others
- Ability to be passionate about learning and problem solving with consistently demonstrated abilities in these areas
Education
Physical Abilities
Ability to perform work duties from [limited space workstation/desk/office area] for extended periods of time
Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job
Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed and accuracy to meet the demands of the job
Other Qualifications
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
Must be at least 18 years of age
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
Pay & Benefits:
Competitive market salary from $$76,500 - $85,000* depending on qualifications and experience. For eligible Leadership and individual contributor roles, additional bonus opportunities are available and awarded at thediscretion of the company.
