Legal Specialist
Parker is seeking a Legal Specialist in its legal department located at its corporate headquarters in Mayfield Heights, Ohio.

Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
The position includes providing various administrative support to Parker attorneys and paralegals (e.g., drafting documents and correspondence, organizing mail, managing expenses and travel, taking meeting minutes, managing and updating files). The role also includes primary responsibility for tasks related to TyMetrix 360 (e-billing and matter management software).
The legal specialist will be expected to use time-management, organization and prioritization skills to manage multiple tasks for the assigned legal staff to meet deadlines; be proactive in communications with assigned legal staff to ensure all required actions are taken on a timely basis; and demonstrate attention to detail in performing all tasks.
Qualifications
Essential Qualifications & Abilities:
Minimum three years of experience in legal administration;
Proficient in drafting written communications (e.g., use of grammar and ability to be concise and clear);
Ability to interact and verbally communicate well with others in a professional and courteous manner;
Proficient in usage of various computer software (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel);
Experience with e-billing software and matter management systems; and
Strong organizational skills
