As an Information Analyst, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the organization’s information assets. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define information requirements, design and maintain information models and taxonomies, and help set standards for information quality, integrity, and security. You will play a key role in data governance initiatives and support compliance with information-related regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory, classify, and document information assets across the organization
Design and maintain information models, metadata, and taxonomies
Develop and implement information quality standards and policies
Support data governance efforts, including data stewardship and access controls
Ensure compliance with information security and privacy regulations
Serve as a subject matter expert on information organization and accessibility
Collaborate with business units to align information management with organizational goals
Provide guidance on best practices for information lifecycle management
Support projects for improving information systems, repositories, and workflow
You will be part of the Business Analytics Support (BAS) team which is a transversal team and an integral part of Business Platform Safety, Security & Crisis Management (BPSSC), part of KLM Data & Technology (D&T) organization. The team deals with handling data of safety audits, incident reports, rules and regulations, handbooks, passengers, etc.

the application used to register safety incidents, reports and follow-ups
We Build
data used to create insights in efficiency of organization and effectiveness of risk mitigation measures
Bachelor’s or higher degree in Information Management, Library Science, Computer Science, or a related field
You have more than 7 years of relevant experience
Demonstrable experience with tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, Collibra, Enterprise Architect, Microsoft Visio, draw.io, or similar platforms for data visualization, information modeling, data governance, and process documentation.
Experience in information management, information analysis, or data governance
Familiarity with metadata management, information architecture, or taxonomy design
Understanding of information quality, data stewardship, and compliance requirements
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
You are fluent in both Dutch and English
Experience with information management tools or platforms is a plus
