JOB PURPOSE
The Benefits Compensation and HRIS (BCHRIS) Business Partner is responsible for supporting organization-wide Benefits, Compensation, and Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) functions. This position is a lead in the Human Resources (HR) technology systems and provides consultative services to the HR team regarding compensation, benefits, and legal requirements. The role involves working with the Human Resources leadership to assist in developing and implementing key BCHRIS initiatives to align with the company&39;s strategic objectives.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Job Functions:
Benefits Administration
· Collaborate on the design, development, and administration of employee benefits programs.
· Manages the open enrollment process for all benefit and 401k programs, including the development of timelines, communication plan utilizing various media, system updates, coordinating with brokers, vendors, and reporting.
· Works with HR leadership to ensure competitive and cost-effective benefit plans are aligned with industry trends.
· Maintain benefit cost records and data for cost analysis.
· Oversee open enrollment, employee changes, and termination processes.
· Oversees the process and administration of COBRA and HIPPA compliance. Assures the appropriate notifications are given to employees in accordance with federal regulations.
· In coordination with Human Resources, supports the execution of all Leaves of Absence, including employee communications, legal compliance, and management of leave tracking related to include Worker’s Compensation by communicating with LOA Employees, their Managers, other HR Business Partners, Third Party-Administrators, and Payroll.
· Ensures full compliance with all state and federal regulations, reporting, and filing requirements relating to all benefit plans. Work closely with benefit brokers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate ACA reporting compliance, 5500 filings, IRS and DOL filings and audit responses, and all other benefit related compliance obligations.
· Ensures timely communications to HR management to Senior leadership in advance of any compliance concerns and issues.
· Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and timely reporting.
Compensation
· Administer all aspects of compensation programs and incentive plans.
· Completes bi-weekly pay related adjustments to include compensation increases and benefit enrollments; distributes payroll related memorandums to employees in a timely manner.
· Processes required paperwork for employee transfers, changes in job classification, salary increases, and other related employment matters.
· Research and analyze compensation data to determine the company&39;s competitive position.
· Provide guidance on compensation adjustment based on benchmarks and market trends.
· Participate in compensation surveys and benchmarking exercises.
· Leads annual compensation project, including merit and bonus program.
HRIS Support
· Oversees HRIS functionality to meet business needs.
· Collaborate with IT to implement and enhance HRIS systems.
· Processes employee benefit enrollments, changes, new hires and terminations for employees in the HRIS.
· Maintain HRIS process documentation and best practices.
· Prepares and generates reports for workforce metrics and organizational structure.
· Serve as the main HRIS point of contact for information system issues.
Marginal Job Functions:
· Knowledge of general office clerical procedures.
· Manage communication-related to assigned areas.
· Strong computer skills with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint expertise.
· Ability to regularly exercise sound judgment.
· Cross trains and serves as a backup for other Human Resources positions.

Proficient with payroll management, human resource information systems (HRIS), applicant tracking, and similar computer applications.
Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent required. BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or related majors is preferred.
