Job Description:

Purpose of Position
The Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) partners with managers and leaders through multiple functions to deliver against the company's overall strategy, by identifying, prioritizing, and building HR capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes. The HRBP will partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning and Development, Employee Relations, and Compensation and Benefits.

Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Builds and maintains a thorough understanding of the business and business strategy; builds strong relationships with business leaders
  • Provides ongoing support/recommendations to assigned business leaders as needed/appropriate
  • Coach and develop Managers to become more effective
  • Support, implement and sustain Human Resource strategies, programs and initiatives to attract, develop and retain the very best employees
  • Partner with leaders to oversee and provide recommendations and guidance on creating cultural commitment to employee engagement, development and growth
  • Assess and provide recommendations on overall talent management and training needs; inclusive of success management
  • Partner with leaders on employee relations issues, including providing fact based, consistent recommendations for performance improvement plans, investigations, and terminations
  • Interpret and answer policy and HR-related questions consistently
  • Facilitate exit interviews; identify trends and provide proactive solutions to mitigate unwanted turnover.

  • Partner with management, HR Team, colleagues and business leaders to implement specific programs and initiatives directly aligned to the 20/20 Flight Plan in the areas of performance management, recognition, career development, organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, talent development, compensation and employee relations
  • Provide management coaching and support to front line managers to improve their managerial effectiveness; improve work relationships, build morale, drive performance management, accountability and engagement
  • Act as an advocate for and resource to Team Members (TM) when needed to assure that TM perspectives are heard and considered
  • Ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization and drive prioritization of HR initiatives
  • Consistently offers quality advice, counsel and insight; Demonstrates sound judgment and discretion; address issues constructively by providing independent, objective and courageous advice
  • HR expert â&128;&147; apply experience and knowledge in HR technical areas to increase organizational performance
  • Strong talent management, organizational development and employee relations experience
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations as needed, assess risk and determine appropriate actions necessary
  • Provide compensation support including salary planning, approval of salary actions, promotions and job re-leveling
