Executive Assistant (Full Time)

POSITION SUMMARY:
Provides confidential services to the Vice President.
PERFORMANCE CRITERIA: (Refer to the Performance Appraisal System documentation)
Models the individual behavior outlined by the New Piper Core Values. Meets the performance criteria of this position, including obtaining and maintaining the required department and job specific skills. Accomplishes the agreed-to annual objectives of the position.
• Plan and organize work and develop procedures to meet requirements.
• Screen visitors, make appointments, receive telephone calls, mail, and faxes.
• Compose, sign, and release routine but somewhat complex correspondence and confidential reports involving technical and complex vocabulary. Prepare budgets, timelines and project information.
• Organize and maintain confidential files and records.
• Respond to a variety of requests for information using own judgement and discretion, based on complete knowledge of policies and procedures.
• Interface with high level executives, Chairman and Board Members.
• Coordinate special projects as assigned by the Vice President.
• Coordinate and conduct follow-up procedures associated with executive level meetings.
• Perform other related duties as required.
• No supervisory responsibilities required.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
High School or GED and an Associate’s degree required.
Experience:
Minimum of five years Executive Assistant experience required.
Competent in Windows based computer programs with advanced level experience in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is necessary to perform the duties in this position.
Excellent interpersonal skills are required as well as diplomacy and tact while communicating in both written and verbal forms.
