Enviromental Field Technician 1
Tukwila, WA
Contract Position
Work with an environmental leader focused on delivering advanced solutions for water, wastewater, and infrastructure challenges. This organization leverages technology and expertise to support sustainable water management practices, helping communities manage resources efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct fieldwork, including installation, operation, and maintenance of flow monitoring and rainfall equipment.
- Install and calibrate flow monitors in sewer lines, collect data, and ensure accuracy.
- Maintain field equipment and vehicles, ensuring safety and mechanical reliability.
- Record and maintain accurate data and documentation in accordance with company quality standards.
- Perform confined space entry and set up traffic control in high-density areas as required.
- Adhere to all safety procedures and complete required safety certifications (Level 2 minimum).
- Assist in training and other crew-related duties.
- Travel to various work sites and operate under standard and non-standard driving conditions.
- Complete additional duties and training as needed.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Clearance: Must pass a drug screen and background check.
- Experience: Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Physical ability to perform confined space entry, lift and carry up to 60 pounds, and work in sewer environments.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite: Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Willingness to travel and work overtime as required.
