As a Distribution Business Analyst, here is what you’ll be doing at the core, day to day.
The Distribution Business Analyst will be on-site in our aircraft parts warehouse, assisting with system operations and providing support / troubleshooting any system related issues. This role will report into the Distribution Network Manager and work closely with the company’s IT Team. Responsibilities will include:
- Provide daily support on SAP S/4 HANA ERP system, its Warehouse Management System module (EWM) as well as other external systems and databases required to support the warehouse operations (access management, database maintenance, queue processing, bug fixes)
- Provide basic hardware support and act as primary liaison between warehouse and IT support team
- Maintain system data integrity and support periodic data updates
- Collaborate with the parts warehouse’s third-party vendor and MHI RJ’s IT team in the planning and execution of IT-related projects when required
- Prepare necessary reports, documentation and/or presentation materials for governance of MHIRJ’s third-party vendor and the warehouse operations
- Assist in the development and maintenance of business processes, work instructions and end-user documentation.
- Support internal customers with reports and data analysis pertaining to the warehouse activities (i.e. inventory audits, export compliance, continuous improvement)
- Provide MHI RJ system and process training to end-users (as required)
Here’s what is required to succeed as a Distribution Business Analyst.
- Minimum of 3 years’ work experience in process analysis, including an understanding of current supply chain issues in a fast-paced environment
- Work experience using SAP modules, technical understanding of frontend/backend features and functionalities and how they interact together is an asset
- Experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) module is an asset
- College degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Information Technologies or similar degree – OR equivalent work experience is required
- Ideal individual will have: strong problem-solving skills and organizational skills, ability to troubleshoot and propose solutions, and work independently and with limited supervision
- You have good English language skills (reading/ writing/ speaking)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
