Job Summary
The Data Steward is responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and availability of data within the Salesforce platform. This role involves managing data governance processes, performing data quality checks and collaborating with various stakeholders to support the companys data-driven decision-making processes.
Duties and Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Data Quality Management:
- Monitor and maintain data quality within tools such as Salesforce and Profisee MDM.
- Perform regular data audits and cleansing activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Identify and resolve data duplications, discrepancies, and inconsistencies.
- Data Governance:
- Enforce data governance policies and procedures in partnership with the Master Data Management team.
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with business units to establish data ownership and stewardship responsibilities.
- Data Integration and Migration:
- Support data integration efforts between Salesforce and various other systems.
- Assist in data migration projects, ensuring data accuracy and consistency during transitions.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Generate and distribute data quality reports to stakeholders.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
- Assist in the creation of dashboards and reports within Salesforce and PowerBI.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with sales and marketing, data analysts, and IT team to understand data requirements and address data-related issues.
- Train and support users on data management best practices and data governance policies.
- Documentation and Training:
- Maintain documentation of data governance processes, data definitions, and data quality standards.
- Develop and deliver training materials for end-users and data stewards.
Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in information management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data management, data governance, or a similar role.
- Experience with Salesforce data management and administration.
- Salesforce Administrator or Data Management Certification is preferred.
- Experience with data integration tools and techniques is preferred
- Knowledge of data querying is preferred
