Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)
o Regularly measure and analyze, highlighted areas of strength and opportunity; identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
o Assists DEI subject matter experts by contributing perspective, insights, and knowledge.
o Recognize and respond to business/team member needs by providing tailored strategies and solutions to enable appropriate cultural awareness and change.
o Represent the organization in diversity strategy efforts, ensuring awareness, involvement, and contributions as appropriate.
o Facilitate in planning Business Resource Group (BRG) events both onsite and in the community.
o Liaise with Corporate Partners on cultural events during affinity months such as Black History Month.
o Support company events during affinity months such as Indy Pride.
o Maintain DEI SharePoint page, calendar, and BRG pages with events, blog posts, Associate spotlights etc.
o Design digital and printable materials to advertise BRG and DEI events in collaboration with CorpComm.
o Assist with and maintain DEI swag, ordering items, organizing for events, communicating with vendor etc.
o Assist with writing and editing for internal communications, including newsletter highlights and blog posts.
o Assist with research, planning, writing and development of new ideas for social content calendar and requested publications.
o Attend Republic events and produce event summaries as needed.
o Ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to both Republic Airways and LIFT Academy brands in all written materials.
o Additional tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Pursuing an associate’s degree (A.A / A.S.) or bachelor’s degree (B.A. / B.S.) in Communications, Marketing, Public Policy, Business Administration, Operations or related field.
Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
Familiar with Canva Visual Suite.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Positive attitude, detail and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to work onsite at our Indianapolis Headquarters location, unless otherwise directed by hiring manager
Ability to work up to 40 hours per week with a minimum of 20 hours for spring and fall interns
Eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship

Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
