The Corporate Benefits Analyst provides support to the Director, Retirement Benefits and assists with the administration of retirement and compensation benefits. Assures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations.
Primary Responsibilities and Areas of Involvement
- Manage data from plants across the US for 401(k) compliance testing and audits
- Ensure divisional compliance in the retirement space at PCC
- Partner with division payroll departments for weekly funding of 401(k) accounts
- Manage annual ACA 1095-C and 1094-C system configuration and reporting
- Analyze employer contributions by division for variance
- Assist the Benefits Director in training new HR/payroll personnel
- Prepare compensation reports for senior management
- Work with Accounting to identify variances between intercompany charges and payroll deductions
- Pinpoint employee data errors and roll up your sleeves to fix the problems
- Assist with new employee orientation and onboarding process
- Helps with recruiting candidates, including scheduling interviews and assessments
- Special projects and other job duties as assigned, including support to the Treasury department
Required Experience / Skills / Education
- Proficient in HRM Systems and MS Office, including advance knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Demonstrated data management and analysis expertise, must be comfortable with Excel VLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH, Familiarity with Pivot tables is a must, PowerPivot and VBA experience desired
- Ability to prioritize and work effectively and accurately in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving abilities, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or equivalent experience.
