Raytheon has an entry-level opportunity in its Global Patriot Area within the Land and Air Defense (LADS) organization for a Contracts Analyst or Sr. Contracts Analyst. The successful applicant will support the development of proposals, as well as management and administration of International Direct Commercial Sale (DCS), Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and/or Department of Defense (DoD) domestic contracts. Duties will include using growing knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the Defense supplement (DFARS) and developing an expertise in commercial terms to respond to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), conduct contract negotiations and provide general contract administration.
The role will require critical thinking and adaptability to complex contract terms and program structures. The selected applicant will be trained to interface with customers on contracting matters and ensure that proposed and negotiated terms & conditions comply with company policies and guidelines. Additionally, the successful applicant will advise program management of contractual rights and obligations as well as work to mitigate contractual/program risks. Travel may be required and in-person office presence may be required up to 5 days per week.
The position will be well suited for a highly motivated, well-organized individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team environment. This job will require a great deal of learning regardless of educational and/or prior work experience. Your responsibilities will include developing creative approaches to solving problems while employing sound change management and communication skills.
This role will be onsite at Raytheon location business locations Andover, MA or Tewksbury, MA
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in International Relations/Political Science, Government, Economics, Accounting, Finance, Law, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or Business.
- This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral)
- Business acumen with the ability to understand the financial aspects of contracts
- Ability to multitask and/or manage workload to meet deliverables on-time and accurately
- Ability and willingness to travel
- 3.2 cumulative GPA
- Experience leading a team or team project

This position requires a security clearance. DCSA Consolidated Adjudication Services (DCSA CAS), an agency of the Department of Defense, handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 53,000 USD - 103,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
