Position Summary
MAG Aerospace is bidding on a NAVWAR PEO C4I program out of San Diego and contingently hiring for a Journeyman Contracts Management Analyst with current TS/SCI eligibility.
This position will manage and support a high level NAVWAR program while providing contract management services to assist with the development of contract strategy, planning, and administration.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Assist in administering assigned contracts and subcontracts to include but not limited to contract modifications, ensuring compliance with prime contract requirements, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation with existing or prospective clients.
- Generates reports on contract activity as required, ensuring a timely processing of technical, financial reports and deliverables.
- Coordinating with other company functions as required to ensure appropriate reviews are conducted, scheduling required reviews, and obtaining required review and approval signatures prior to submittal of proposals or execution of contractual document.
- Adheres to contract policies, procedures, methods, operating practices, and performance standards for areas of responsibility.
- Support proposal activities including, but not limited to analysis of solicitations, preparing summaries and developing strategies and recommendations based on the analysis, with attention to the financial and business risk of the proposed effort, participating in all proposal team meetings, preparing the terms, conditions and assumptions upon which the proposal may be submitted, reviewing the technical and pricing proposals for accuracy and consistency, conducting overall business risk analysis and preparing the proposal documents for submittal to the Customer
- Review and analyze solicitations for potential risks, including compliance ensure compliance with terms and conditions. Coordinate closely with the Subcontracts Administrators assigned to program to ensure subcontracting activities and prime contract flow downs are carried out in a manner consistent with prime contract requirements and operational objectives.
- Develop or review prime contract flowdown documents to ensure compliance with prime contract requirements and to minimize company liability.
- Perform all aspects of assigned contract or purchase order processing including, but not limited to, accuracy of order entry data, contract funding, scope changes, contract amendments, receipts and delivery schedules, legal requirements and other commitments
- Assist the HR department and Finance Department in performance of contractual agreements.

Requirements
Experience
- (3) years of recent and relevant experience managing contracts within Navy and other DoD organizations.
Education
- Bachelors Degree in any discipline
Desired Requirements
- Familiarity with Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR), and Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (PEO C4I).
