Job Description
The Contracts & Proposals Administrator, reporting to the Manager, Contracts & Proposals, will support Cascade Aerospace Inc.s (Cascade) business development, operations, engineering and program management teams, where appropriate, and will advocate in the best interest of Cascades risk management processes and financial objectives.
Major Responsibilities & Duties

Perform contracts and proposals administration activities and functions that support Cascades finance and legal strategies, goals and objectives:
- Enforce Cascades contract execution and proposals policies and procedures
- Manage and maintain Cascades contracts & proposals database:
- Upload contract documents and relevant customer communications to database
- Compile and maintain all required contractual records and documents in accordance with contract requirements and Cascade policies and procedures
- Entry of contract details into database
- Run reports from database, as needed
- Filing, emailing/faxing, distribution and organization of executed contracts
- Recognition, analysis and solution definition for contracts and proposals administration issues
- Preparation of periodic internal and external reports and/or summaries relating to contracts and proposals progress
- Ensure appropriate and timely renewal and/or changes in accordance with Contract Management policies
- Maintain awareness of legal requirements, contract/proposals terms and reporting requirements to maximize business advantages and ensure compliance
- Provide appropriate support to internal, non-legal documents as it pertains to contracts and proposals
Complete other business support functions:
- Support finance and other internal clients for invoice validation prior to payment
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams/individuals in order to support effective data compilation for business requirements, associated to contract management
Be familiar with and ensure that all workplace conduct is in accordance with Cascades Human Resources safety and security policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as required.
Core Skills
- Excellent communication skills: fluent written and verbal English is mandatory
- Detail oriented
- Advanced computer skills: MS Office Suite including Teams, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel
- Ability to interact with all levels in the organization
- Excellent time management skills
- Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines with a high degree of professionalism and accuracy
- Experience handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Education
- Minimum: Certificate in Legal Administrative Studies/Legal Office Administration or equivalent is required
- Diploma in Legal Studies, Paralegal, Business Law, or other relevant discipline considered an asset
Experience
- Ideally, 1-3 years of experience dealing with high-volume contracts/proposals administration in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarization with the aerospace industry considered an asset
