In your role, as Application Analyst - Manufacturing Solutions you will participate in:
1 Production Support - First response / mitigation
2 CAM System management and support
3 System Evolution (Opportunity, RFCs,…)
4 Project Deployment
5 Communication and Liaison between IT(CAM) and the key stakeholders in the business.
in the following domains:
• Post-processors for numerical control of machine-tools
• Machine Simulators for offline testing of NC programs
• Composite manufacturing
• Automation, Robotics (Programming Applications only)
• Computer aided inspection systems
• Automated Assembly
• Augmented Reality
You will participate in:
• NC machine tool post-processors and machine simulator development, testing and validation in a production environment
• Create user manuals and give training to end users.
• Build, document, and maintain support processes and tools, including the maintaining of support and change logs.
• Continuous improvement initiatives.
• The Technology Lifecycle Management of CAM applications and systems. (ie emerging, existing, sustaining, retiring of technology)
How to thrive in this role?
• You have a college diploma in automated manufacturing engineering, or manufacturing Engineering with a strong influence in computer automation, or equivalent experience.
• You have over 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
• You can create functional specifications documents.
• You have a working knowledge of MS Office suite.
• You have experience with SQL databases.
• Experience with the following is an asset: CamPost; Vericut; Catia V5; DELMIA; NC programming; NC machine controller macro languages.
• Experience programming with current programming languages.
• Manufacturing system experience or knowledge, such as Robotics, CMM, vision systems, NDT, NDI, OEE, MES and AR are also an asset.
• You are a team player, and willing to take initiatives.
• You have good analytical skills with an end-to-end process approach.
• You have a resourceful and innovative approach to problem solving.
• You are customer oriented, dynamic and autonomous.
• You have excellent communication skills in both French and English.
