Senior Tax Accountant
Location: This position is situated out of our Cincinnati OH location. A remote working arrangement within US is available for this role, or may be worked out of any US StandardAero facilities.

As a Senior Tax Accountant you will perform professional US tax accounting work in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and relevant tax legislation. You will be responsible for the collection of tax-related information, reporting to tax authorities in a timely manner and preparation of income tax provisions.
What you’ll do:
- Prepare US Federal/State/International income tax returns
- Prepare US Federal/State estimated income tax payments
- Prepare US tax depreciation
- Assist with US Federal/State income tax audits
- Assist with preparation of Canada income tax returns as needed
- Determine withholding tax requirements for payments to non-residents and complete related reporting
- Prepares quarterly and year-end tax accounting provision
- Conduct US and State tax research
- Carries out special projects as assigned
What skills you will require:
- Minimum of 2 years of tax experience in progressive assignments
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Working knowledge of US Federal, International and State taxes
- Working knowledge of ASC 740 (US GAAP income tax accounting)
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, RIA OneSource (or comparable tax software), RIA Checkpoint (or similar tax research tool), Oracle (or comparable ERP system) and tax depreciation software
- Good planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
Preferred characteristics:
- Working towards Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance or CPA.
